How to write a pre/post ember component generator hook?

Is there a way in which we can write a hook each time a component is created using ember-cli tool?

I am looking to create some files or rather copy some files from one directory to another each time a component is created.

Solution should be generic and not related to any specific OS is what I am finding for.
