is it possible to identify a value being changed by server in ember?

is there any attribute in the ember model which indicates the value being altered by the server?. I don't want to observe the value in that model as it will get triggered when the user changes also. so I was wondering if there is any attribute like isSaving, hasDirtyAttributes like that to indicate the value is changed by the server for a short moment of time like how isLoading and isLoaded in ember does.
