What is real purpose and help and ease from angular, ember.js angular and similar libraries?

As title said what is real,constructive and finally main (imagined) purpose of those scripts?

Can someone write really detailed answer with some examples, because in demo from those sites I found some things which I can create with little jQuery or some intermediate js?
