Compiled templates file size increased tremendously

Previously when I was using ember version 1.9.1 (uses HandleBars), my compiled templates file was ~5MB, now after migrating to ember version 1.11.3 (uses HTMLBars) it increased to ~9MB. Can anyone tell me the reason?
