Ember.js ember-table does not display upon ember serve

I'm new to ember.js and am trying to get this table working:

I've followed the instructions and ran:

ember serve

when I go to http://localhost:4200 all I see is "Welcome to Ember", but no table is visible.

I am not sure what the issue is here, I do get the message:

Could not start watchman; falling back to NodeWatcher for file system events.

But underneath it does say:

Build successful - 555ms.

and the console displays no visible errors. Any help is welcome.
