Which client side library or framework should i use with asp.net mvc?

I have been developing spa with .net web api and angular.js for three years. I started new project with angular2 in near time but boss told to integrate new system with old system which was developed with asp.net mvc. I want to use data binding and dom manipulation features of angular js. But old project is not a spa and i do not want to mix angular and asp.net mvc.

So which library or framework should i use? ember.js, backbone.js etc.
