Any non-node.js JS front end MVC restful framework supporting IE8 out there?

Still experimenting as I am, may I ask if there is any non-nodejs-dependant, Restful API-friendly, Javascript MVC Framework bringing structure to the front-end like backbone, ember.js, except it supports IE8?

I've tried ember.js and backbone on IE8 browser, no good.
