Why does Ember.run.later not play audio properly on mobile browsers?

I have 3 Ember.run.later functions which play an audio file with a one second delay. On my desktop/laptop browser, all the sounds play as expected when I click "play sounds". However, on mobile only the first two play the sound. The first audio file is also executed outside the run later function.
