Ember ActiveModelApater updateRecord sends unneeded id

I am using ember 1.13 with the active-model-adapter.

Updating a record and saving it will sends the following json to 'worksheets/40': {'worksheet'=> {'title'=> ...}, 'id'=> '40' }

How can I disable this unnecessary id parameter?
