Run a command line task in an Ember app

I would like to run a command line task, specifically gulp and grunt tasks, on my Ember server, but I can't find any information on how to do this. I have a form on a SPA that needs to run these tasks to build something on the server, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.
