Sudden git issue with "incorrect header" message

I suddenly get this error message in the console of my ember app when i run git status or try to perform a commit:

error: inflate: data stream error (incorrect header check)

error: inflate: data stream error (incorrect header check)
fatal: loose object 1d4156e8f0d287575c6ece3872a72dbd387d10f0 (stored in .git/objects/1d/4156e8f0d287575c6ece3872a72dbd387d10f0) is corrupt

Do you know how this can be solved?
