How persist custom data in ember-simple-auth session?

I have doubts about how persist one selected role for a account with multiple roles. I have users with multiple roles and after login I put the user to select what account he wish login.

Have a way to persist the role info with the ember_simple_auth-session cookie? Or is a better approach store this in another cookie with ember-cookies?
