Using adal.js with ember

Could someone give me some pointers on how to use adal.js within Ember please? There isn't really anything on this on the searches I have performed (found some stuff on Angular, but my knowledge isn't good enough to know how to adapt those guides for Ember).

I came across emberjs-simpleauth-adal-aad, but this hasn't been updated for two years now, and is out of date with the release of v2 of adal.js.
