Deployed Ember App uses 100%+ CPU

I use Ember for a number of my websites. Over the last several months, one of my websites started maxing out the CPU usage of Safari and Chrome web browsers, but not in Firefox.

I have both a staging and production deployment using ember-cli-deploy to an AWS S3 bucket. At first, the maxed CPU usage was only occurring on my production website. About a month ago, I changed my production build to run under a different environment name "prod" and the issue went away. However, this last week the issue has come back.

Note, this issue does not happen in my local environment.

Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.
