How to retrieve data from database and display it in a select box using ember

Im new to ember. For example, I have store 5 countries in database, which is [US, CH, CA, JP, KR]

How do I retrieve them and display those countries in a drop-down-list using ember?

*I've seen tutorials that put arrays of countries in the controller, but now I wanted to get it from the database.
