Good framework for web front-end

I wanna start a new web app and for back-end I want to use grails or spring mvc 4, but I don't know which framework would be good for front-end. I think about CodeIgniter or Sails.js. and can i use Angular.js or Ember as front-end to manipulate with json requests from back-end? any ideas?

P.S. sorry for my english :)
