Most efficient JS framework for consuming and displaying JSON?

I am trying to find the most efficient and effective MV* framework for calling, parsing and displaying JSON from multiple API endpoint calls. I feel like Angular 2 is a good choice because I like how declarative it is but wanted to get the opinion of others.
