What's the best way to make Newtonsoft's JSON.NET JSON API (JsonApi.org) compliant?

I am using Json.Net for a while now and would like to know if anybody is using it (in an IIS/C# App) as a backend for Ember-Data or any other JSON API use case.

JSON API has declared some conventions (like how to store relationships between stored objects) and also defined practices (like using the http verb PATCH instead of POST) that seem to make a lot of sense in REST APIs.
