emberjs error undefined is not a function

I'm wondering if anyone came across this issue with Emberjs.

I'm setting up my emberjs projects onto my new dev server and all my projects seem to work fine on my old dev server. My new dev server runs ubuntu 14.04 while my old server runs ubuntu 12.04.

undefined is not a function

can be anything and it seems my dev console is not give me more detail about this error.
