Post/Send data from one template to another template in Ember js

i would like the send/post the data one handlebar template to another handlebar template. For example i have button, which opens up a modal and in that modal i have a text area and send button and this send button should send this textarea data to the other template in a div row. How can i implement this? Do you have any tutorials ? Please help me out this is urgent.
